Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Polk Hoover Johnson of Troutville, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 96, on May 30, 2025. He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Louise Johnson; and his grandson Marty Hilderbrand. He is survived by: his children, Linda Poyner (Thomas), Cheryl Hilderbrand (late Tony), Kay Wright (Jim) and Johnny Johnson (Sandy); and his grandchildren, Chad Jarvis, Nicki Hilderbrand, Kendra Leatherland, Stephen Kopalchick, Dustin Holt, Meredith Underwood, Caleb Johnson and Ben Wright. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Valley Church (8100 Angel Ln, Roanoke, VA 24019). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
