It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny R. Dunsmore of Verona, Virginia, born in Staunton, Virginia, who passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Leroy Gilbert and Fannie Joy Dunsmore (Shumate); his siblings, Stanley G. Dunsmore, Evelyn Dunsmore VanPelt (F. Stuart) and Julia Alexander (Paul); his sister-in-law Jean S. Dunsmore; and his pet Diamond.
He is survived by : his children, Scott Dunsmore (Linda) of Mt. Sidney and Jenny Dunsmore (Butch) of Grottoes; his brothers, Howard L. Dunsmore (Nancy F.) of Stuarts Draft and Gerald R. "Jake" Dunsmore of Mt. Sidney; the mother of his children Peggy Dunsmore Anderson (Rob) of Staunton; his grandchildren, Nathan Vincent, Morgan Dunsmore, Joseph White, Michael Carlton, Evan Carlton, Emory Dunsmore and Madelyn Hupman; his stepchildren, Robin, Trad Newcomb, Lisa and Don Moomaw; his pet Charlotta; and his close friends, Dale Tuck, Tara Fitz of Buffalo Junction, Hugh Alec Christian of Weyers Cave and Sam Good. He is also survived by numerous niece and nephews.
