She was predeceased by : her husband Walter Loyd Simmons, Sr.; her parents, Robert Guy Dudley and Bessie Mae Huddleston; and her grandson Mitchell Loyd Simmons. She is survived by : her daughters, Sandra Russell, Wanda Edwards (Percy) and Karen Bowers. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Stewartsville Rescue Squad are encouraged.
