With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deirdre Barnes (Virginia Beach, Virginia), who passed away on October 6, 2019 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Garrity and Patricia Garrity; her sister Laura; and her nephew Frankie Cavalluzzo. She is survived by : her children, Vanessa (Mark), Douglas Jr. (Shannon) and Luke (Lalia); her grandsons, Garrett, Brady, Hudson Hunter, Mackenna, Degan Barnes, Silas and Judah Barnes; her siblings, Lisa, Maureen (Peter), Jackie (John) and Brian (Ellen); and her half-brother Joe.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Cancer Care Foundation of Tidewater at PO Box 12693 Norfolk, VA 23541.
