With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen M. Kukura in Virginia Beach, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Glova and Mary Franko Glova; and her siblings, Thomas Glova and Catherine Bozick. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Kukura (Kimberly) of Virginia Beach, Linda Lassotta (Hilmar) of Chico, Calif, Lorraine Soblosky (Joseph) of New Orleans and James Kukura (Lorraine) of Virginia Beach; her grandchildren, Phillip Kukura, Steven Kukura, Daniel Lassotta (Kevana), Kristina Young (Steven), Lauren Soblosky, Katherine Dorry (Kyle), Monica Soblosky, Perry Kukura and Ashley Spear (John); her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Jackson, Juneau, Madeline, Emily, Ariana, Luke and Kaitlyn; and her husband Cyril M. Kukura.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Kinnick Funeral Home (477 N Meridian Rd, Youngstown, OH 44509). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Christine Church (3165 S Schenley Ave, Youngstown, OH 44511).
