He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloise Hansel (Taylor) and Holmes Rolston Hansel, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Louise; his daughter Katheryn Hansel (Charles Bunker Sargent); and his grandchildren, Joseph, Meaghan Spagnolo, Kirsten Sala (RJ) of Glastonbury, Dylan, Cameron, Andrew, Keri Estabrooks (Dale Aviation Ordnanceman), Derek and Taylor.
