She was predeceased by : her parents, Nora Mercer and James Mercer (Jim); her husband Julian Burgess (Jack); and her daughter Nancy Gofus of Reston, Virginia.. She is survived by : her son Mike (Ellen); her son-in-law Joe Gofus of Reston Virginia; her grandchildren, Matt Gofus (Kate), Katie Schofield (Tyler), Michelle Burgess (Matt), Sean Burgess and Durham of North Carolina; and her great grandchildren, Maggie, Jack and Elyse.
