Penland of Opelika; his stepsons, Geoffrey B. Struble of Virginia Beach and Robert J. Rothrock (Courtney Lloyd) of Richmond, Virginia; his stepgrandson Jeremy Lloyd Rothrock; and his siblings-in-law, DuWayne R. Neumann of Sheboygan Falls and Renee F. Brethouwer of Oostburg, Wisconsin..
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home (5033 Rouse Dr, Virginia Beach, VA 23462). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home (1500 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801). A burial will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at the Garden Hills Cemetery.
