She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Short and Lena Short; and her sister Janet Vayro. She is survived by: her sister Roberta Short; her husband William; her children, Lori Eubank (Damon), Melissa Jadwin and Robert Jadwin (Vanesa); her grandchildren, Erin Hashley (Peter), Brandon Degner, Lorin Borntrager (Nathan), Jacob Jadwin, Caleb Jadwin, Micah Eubank, Arana McCallum, Gavin Jadwin and Olivia Jadwin; and her great grandchildren, Joshua, Zane, Dustin, Vivian and Alora.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Great Neck Baptist Church (1020 General Jackson Dr, Virginia Beach, VA 23454). A burial will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at the Alfred G. Horton Jr. Memorial Cemetery.
