With solemn reverence, we commemorate Twila Rebecca Bonney (Virginia Beach, Virginia), whose life came to an end on May 26, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dovener Dayton McGinnis and Jo Garnett Lilly McGinnis; her husband Ronald Gene Bonney; her son Ronald Bonney Jr.; and her siblings, Mildred Clem, Edith "Jackie" Ellison, Elizabeth Orr, Anna "Janie" Eller, William, Dayton and Harold McGinnis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vivian Self and Rebecca Roberts; her partner Thomas Carlson; her grandchildren, Jimmy Self, Christie Stuart, Kathy Ryan, Amber Santucci, Rebecca Newton and Cole Roberts; and also, Richard, Kevin, Matthew, Breanna Rene, Bethany, Teagan, Paisleigh and Pelaiah. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel (1485 Kempsville Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23464). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
