He is survived by: his wife Lois Shafter Asimos; his sisters, Mary Carolyn Coggsdale (Ed), Jeannie Nance, Barbara (Glenn Gronseth), Nancy (Gino Iannotta) and Orn Adalsteinsson; and his mother-in-law Beverly Shafter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins and friends.
