He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie C. Sheffield and Ida Wells Sheffield. He is survived by: his wife Laura A. Sheffield; his children, Sandra S. Ingram (Gary) and Mark E. Sheffield (Melinda); and his granddaughters, Stephanie Ingram and Laura Ingram. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
