We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2025, at the age of 80, James Edward Laine of Wakefield, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sue Ellis Laine; and his parents, Walter West and Gladys Laine. He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Kim) and Steve (Jennifer Patterson); his grandchildren, Austin, Charlie, Ellis, Sally, Sofia and Shay Kathryn; his sisters, Brenda Watkinson (Wayne) and Nancy Stephenson (Bobby); and his pet Buck.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wakefield Cemetery (205 W Church St, Wakefield, VA 23888).
