She was predeceased by : her parents, Benjamin Franklin Morris and Virginia Babb Morris; her husband Harold Drew "Jill" Pond; and her siblings, James Mack Morris, Geraldine Vaughan and Bennie Morris.

She is survived by : her children, Dempsey Harold Pond and Terri Pond Billups (Robbie); her grandson Robert Drew Billups; and her siblings, Edith Wilson, Emily Williams, Joseph Morris and William Morris.
