She was predeceased by: her mother Shirley Strong Dunbar. She is survived by: her husband Leonard; her children, Carrie Long (Jim) and Christopher; her grandchildren, Rebecca Long, Lexis Rollings and Joshua Long; her father Lt. Commander; and her brother Steve Dunbar (Lila).
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to Mill Swamp Baptist Church or American Cancer Society.
