She was predeceased by : her parents, Kenneth Sims and Stella Guy Sims; her grandson Craig Nathan Novack; and her siblings, Betty Brown, Jimmy, Harold and Bobby Sims.

She is survived by : her children, Steven Craig Novack (Karen) of Pocomoke, MD, Natalie Novack Binder (James) of Atlantic, VA and Deanna Novack Johnson (Danny) of Lake Mary, FL; her grandchildren, Amber, Kelsey, Stevie Novack, Tristan, Tanner Binder, Kayla and Taylor Johnson; and her sister Judy Cohoon (Ray) of Currituck, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
