He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Wheatley and Charlotte Palmer; his wife Martha Palmer; his sister Mary Lee Maples; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia Palmer-Fuechsel, Klaus Fuechsel, Tom, Lisa Palmer, Pamela, David Pinney, Ira and Cindy Palmer. He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
