It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Gray (Waverly, Virginia), who passed away on July 19, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher R. Gray and Stella M. Gray; his daughter Vanessa G. Johnson; and his granddaughter Martina D. Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Gracie L. Gray of Waverly; his children, Mayvis Petticolas of Waverly and Clarence "Mike" Gray (Angela) of Waverly, Virginia; his sisters, Stella "Virginia" Thomas of Newport News and Claudine Green of Hampton, Virginia; and his godson Joseph "Skip" Tatum. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
