With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Irene Ashworth Johnson (Waverly, Virginia), born in Hopewell, Virginia, who passed away on June 29, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Mertie Denson; and her siblings, Linda Ashworth Brooks, Beauford Ashworth and David Ashworth. She is survived by: her parent Charlie Ashworth; her husband Thomas Lee Johnson; her children, Renee Walters (Roger) and Bryan Johnson (Heather); her grandchildren, Desire, Mikayla, Shannon, Kendall, Justin and Jordyn; and her siblings, Jeanne Ashworth Phibbs, Tommy Ashworth and Jerry Ashworth. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Abundant Life Pentecostal Holiness Church, P.O. Box 596, Hopewell, VA 23860 in memory of Irene Johnson.
