She was predeceased by: her husband Waverly Shorter; and her sisters, Norma McCarthy, Marjorie Mitchell and Lillian Rowe. She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanne Smith (Ron) and Catherine Hallman; and her granddaughter Vanessa Hodgkinson (Jeff). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
