He is survived by : his wife Helen Burgess Shaw; his daughters, Lisa Burgess of Waverly, VA and Marquitta Shaw of Waverly, VA; his grandchildren, Makayla Barco of Waverly, VA and Camryn Turner of Waverly, VA; his siblings, Flossie Bailey of Claremont, VA, Pearl Thompson (William) of Spring Grove, VA, Clarenctene Jones of Hopewell, VA, Charlie Shaw (Barbara) of Spring Grove, VA, Stanley Shaw (Ernestine) of Prince George, VA, Robert Shaw (Virginia) of Petersburg, VA and Carl Shaw (Ruth); his nephew Tony Bailey; and his friends, Marcellus Williams (Latoya), William "Buck" Drew, Fannie Williams and Ruby Burgess. He is also survived by eight sister-in-laws, five brother-in-laws and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends.
