He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Earl Addington and Betty June Mullins Addington; and his brother Bobby Earl Addington. He is survived by : his former life partner Joyce Estep Addington; his children, Frankie Tipton (Jack Tipton), Archie "David" Addington (Christy Tipton Addington), Michael Eugene Addington (Jessica), Brian Shawn Addington and Hershell James Mitchell, Jr. (Tina); his granddaughter Tierra Renea Addington; and his sisters, Sabrina Addington and Lisa Wright. He is also survived by grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
