She was predeceased by : her parents, John Rhoton and Ethel Rhoton (Dockery); her spouse Lee Smith; and her brother James Oliver Rhoton. She is survived by : her sibling Cliffton Rhoton; her daughter Arvella S. Lane (Ricky "Cap" Lane); her granddaughter Kristina M. S. Johnson (Jason Johnson); her great grandchildren, Avery Johnson and Gabriel Johnson; her son Aaron Smith (Becky); and her grandchildren, Rosa Smith Jones (Hunter Jones), Emily Smith and Quintin Smith.

Everyone planning to attend the services are asked to wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
