He is survived by: his wife Rae Via Nichols Ward; his children, Algie B. Ward, III (Beth), Elizabeth Ann Jordan (Betty), Karen Borja (Dave), Laura Germain (Scott) and Randy Nichols (Denise); and his sisters, Margaret Gaskins, Mary Ward and Rosalie Hoblet. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
