It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Ray Bryan of Weyers Cave, Virginia, born in Waynesboro, Virginia, who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Hazel Bryan (Myers) and Willie S. Bryan; his siblings, Robert "Frosty" Bryan and Linda Booth; and his nephew Jeffrey Thorne.

He is survived by : his wife Donna Bryan (Hiveley); his children, Anita Miller of Weyers Cave and Scott Allen Bryan of Harrisonburg; his siblings, Judy Talley of Roanoke, Sharon Thorne (Howard) of Waynesboro, Sandra Fultz (Sonnie) of Hardy, VA, Sue Ellen Hoal (Terry) of Bradenton, FL, Donnie Bryan (Violet) of Sherando, Michael Bryan of Waynesboro and David Bryan of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Alexis Bryan (Travis Cookus), Zachary Harper (Maddie Newman) and Wesley Miller; and his friend Allen Gutshall. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
