It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Goodwin Scripture Jr. of Wicomico Church, Virginia, who passed away on November 8, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Goodwin Scripture Sr. and Eugenia Elizabeth Coghill Scripture of Arlington, Virginia.. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Coghill Scripture; his sister Frances Byrd Scripture Whitney; his children, Susan (Tim Staples), Karen (Bill Hebert), Wanda (Michael Shanahan), Patricia Meany Scripture, Lee Scripture III (Melanie Stanley), Janet Harrison (Chuck Pall), Stephen (Deborah Scripture) and Allen (Stephanie Cooke); his grandchildren, Brandy Hebert, Jared, Kelly Scripture, Joseph, James Scripture, Daniel Harrison, Samantha St. John, Philip, Laura Harrison, Michael, Regan Shanahan, Lee G. Scripture IV, Gabriel, Grace and Aiden Cooke; and his great grandchildren, Noah, June, Emma Scripture and Liam Harrison.
