He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Quarles and Patricia Ann Quarles. He is survived by: his wife Janet Lester Quarles; his children, Sarah Quarles McNamara of Mechanicsville, VA. and James Daniel Quarles (Staci) of Clarksville, VA; his sister Kerry Quarles Phillips of Richmond, VA.; his grandchildren, Emily, Victoria, Jackson and Jonathan; his niece Amelia; and his nephews, Parker, Michael, Paul, Raymond, Jeremey, Jonathan and Joshua.
