With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joanne C. Takach Joey of Winchester, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 27, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Takach and Elsie Takach; and her sister Elyse Creamer. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Wilson, Lizanne Wilson-Avial, Jennifer Springs (Tony) and Stephanie Longshore; and her grandchildren, Alx, Gregory, Casey, Tyler, Gavin, Noah, Gabel, Hayden and Clark.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Joanne to Jim Barnett water aerobics program, donations may be mailed in care of the Jim Barnett Water Aerobics Program to City of Winchester, Rouss City Hall, 15 N. Cameron St., Winchester, VA 22601.
