It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madge F. Shelly of Winchester, Virginia, who passed away on October 30, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Madge F. Shelly to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Feltner and Blanch Feltner; her husband John Eston Shelly Jr.; her brothers, Bruce, Jack, Herbert and Doug Feltner; and her son-in-law Terry Foster.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Foster (Randy), John Shelly, Jr. (Delphia) and Kevin Shelly (Summer); and her siblings, Linda Pugh (Bobby), Sharon Shores (late William), Dorothy Loy (Larry), Roger Feltner (late Phyllis), Alfred Feltner (Mary) and Gary Feltner (Rosezella). She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 4 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (1600 Amherst St, Winchester, VA 22601). A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at the Mount Olive Cemetery (327 Mt Olive Rd, Winchester, VA 22602).
