He was predeceased by : his parent William Sampson. He is survived by : his parent Maude Sampson; his wife Brenda Sampson; his daughter Nancy L. Sampson; his grandchildren, Autumn, Brandi, Timothy and Michael; his great grandchildren, Alaura, Nerissa, Americus, Mikayla, Isabella and Cassidy; and his siblings, Billy Sampson and Betty Sampson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that monetary donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
