It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Helmick of Wolftown, Virginia, born in Stanardsville, Virginia, who passed away on June 26, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Daniel Roach and Florence Victoria Morris Roach; her brother Joe Roach; and her brother-in-law Charles Viands. She is survived by: her boyfriend Roger "Linwood" Jenkins of Wolftown; her sons, Jason Leslie Helmick (Angie Gues) of Madison and Brian Lee Helmick (Claudia) of Stanardsville; her sisters, Alice Viands of Elkton, Wendy R. Koch (Steve) of Stanardsville, Cathy Rogers (Frederick) of Stanardsville and Lucille Preli (Chris) of Radiant; and her grandchildren, Kayla Elizabeth, Haylynn Willow, Ellie Rose and Emma Laine.
