She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Lynwood Upshaw, Sr. and Bertha Gouldin Upshaw; her husband Marvin Wright; her brothers, Lynwood Upshaw, Jr. and Eldred Upshaw; and her sister-in-law Barbara Jean Upshaw.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Tinder (Todd), Vin Wright (Robin) and Emily Langevin (Bruce); her brother Tommy Upshaw (Jean); her sister-in-law Amelia Winn; her grandchildren, Lindsey Edwards (Eric), Justin Tinder (Jenny), Amelia Wright (Chad), Chelsea Langevin (Keil) and Mary Wright (Jon); and her great grandchildren, Audrey, Gracelyn, Connor and Faith Edwards.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Storke Funeral Home (111 S Main St, Bowling Green, VA 22427). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bowling Green Baptist Church (225 N Main St, Bowling Green, VA 22427).
