He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Earon Carico and Guida Melton Carico; his wife Sharon Winesett Carico; his sister Roseanna Carico; his daughter-in-law Kathy Carico; and his grandson William Russell Gray.
He is survived by : his children, Larry Delane (Kelly Wetter) and Dr. Kerri Carico Gray; his son-in-law Dr. Anthony Gray of Piney Flats, TN; his son Keith Smythers of Galax, VA; his grandchildren, Shonda Carico, Justin Carico (Chelsey Snavely), Sydney Gray, Paisley Gray, Sawyer Gray, Hunter Gray, Dylan Smythers (Shayla) and Beth Smythers; and his uncle Rupert Melton. He is also survived by three brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
