We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2024, at the age of 83, Janet Mae McKinney Hunt of Woodstock, Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janet Mae McKinney Hunt to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Dell L. McKinney and Fannie Jane Nugen McKinney. She is survived by : her daughters, Marian L. Cheatham (Buddy) of Mount Dora, FL, Julie Bland (Steve) of Circleville, WV, Karen Hinkler (Guy) of Midland, VA and Sherri Lee Helsley (Scott) of Woodstock; her siblings, Fred McKinney of Lancaster, OH, David McKinney of Fayetteville, WV and Karen Joyce Dunn of Frederick, MD; and her grandchildren, Wally Wright Jr. (Rachel), Bayleigh Wright, Madison Helsley, Natalie Helsley, Travis Helsley, Lauren Hinkler, Grace Hinkler, Guy Hinkler Jr., Seneca Raines, Jessica Bland and Sara Cheatham. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, her family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Antioch Church (23502 Senedo Rd, Woodstock, VA 22664). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
