Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Benny Leroy Copenhaver of Wytheville, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 74, on July 21, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Copenhaver and Luella Stuart Copenhaver; his wife Brenda Payne Copenhaver; and his brothers, Dewayne Copenhaver and Larry Copenhaver.
He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Copenhaver Anderson (Timothy); his grandsons, Dylan Anderson (Caroline Widener) and Nickolas Anderson; and his brothers, Hubert Copenhaver and Danny Copenhaver.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 9:45 AM. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Charity Cemetery (108 Old Tram Rd, Barren Springs, VA 24313).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Rural Retreat Volunteer Fire Department in memory of Benny.
