It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles E. Piper in Wytheville, Virginia, born in Hiseville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Chris Piper and Lilly B. Piper (Emmitt); his wife Anna Christine Piper (Riley); his daughters, Paula Jean Piper, Teleana Gray (Tina) and Vickie Piper; his sisters, Alma Herrington (Piper), Aleen, Pauleen Piper and Beatrice Cantrell (Piper); and his half-brother Alva Leonard Piper.
He is survived by : his grandsons, Richard Jones II and Bobby Taylor; his great grandchild Devon Joe Piper; his children, Pamela Jones (Richard) and Michael Piper (Virginia); and his sister Francis McDonald of Woodburn, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
