We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2024, at the age of 84, Frances Porter Shipwash of Wytheville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Porter and Nina Arnold Porter; her husband Johnny Crockett Shipwash; and her son Kenny Armbrister. She is survived by : her children, Lee Coleman of Hillsville, VA, Michael Armbrister of Pulaski, Ray (Donna Coleman) and John (Jamie Shipwash); and her sisters, Linda Viar of Ivanhoe, VA and Diane Porter of Ivanhoe, VA. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends.
