She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin "Al" Andrews; her parents, Jesse Crockett Hurst and Margaree Lindsey Hurst; her siblings, Velma Hurst Crabtree, Jennie Hurst Umberger, Tharon Hurst Guynn, Claude Hurst, William Hurst, Crockett Hurst, Swanson Hurst, Eugene "Tuney" Hurst and Carroll Montgomery; and her grandson Gaston Tilley.
She is survived by: her children, Patty Umberger Tilley (Gary) of Lexington, SC and David "Ozzie" Umberger (Kathryn) of Pulaski, VA; her grandchildren, Jordan Tilley Hoge (Travis) of Chapin, SC and Ryan Umberger (Cassidy) of Pulaski, VA; her great grandchild Harper Hoge of Chapin, SC; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Pugh Hurst of Wytheville, VA and Nita Andrews of Moravian, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and close friends.
