It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hubert Clarence Surratt of Wytheville, Virginia, who passed away on December 27, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Surratt and Mary Spencer Surratt; his wife Louise Crockett Surratt; his brothers, Lee Surratt and Kyle Surratt; and his brothers-in-law, Coy Vaughn and Barry Umberger.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis (Rowena Surratt), Wayne (Michelle Surratt), Mike (Donna Surratt) and Robin Rice of Castleton Rd; his brother Lewis; his sister-in-law Betty Surratt; and his sisters, Naomi (Hugh Webb), Mavis Vaughn, Janet (Robert Webb), Cassie (Greg Nunn) and Sharon Umberger Numerous. He is also survived by extended family & friends.
Due to COVID-19 regulations & restrictions, there will be no public visitation at the funeral home, all persons attending the funeral service at the church must have face masks & practice social distancing. although there is no public receiving of friends at the funeral home, the family will welcome & receive friends at his residence.
The family asks that in Lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Reese Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
