She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Dyre Cook and Gladys Wall Cook; her husband Edsel Chitwood Jones; her son Michael Edsel Jones; and her siblings, Charles "Popeye" Cook, Roger "Jitter Bug" Cook, Frank Cook, Lois Williams and Carol Coleman.
She is survived by : her sisters, Brenda "B. G." Berryman (Jim) of Wytheville and Dorothy "Dot" Aker of Wytheville; and her friend B. G. Berryman. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to West End Methodist Church.
