She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Dean and Beulah Umberger Henderson; and her husband Jesse Crockett Hurst, Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Margaret "Sissy" (Robert Webb), Lynn (Eric Polstra) and James Sr.; her daughter-in-law Beth Hurst of Wytheville; her siblings, Doris Umberger of Wytheville and Douglas; her sister-in-law June Henderson of Wytheville; her grandchildren, James Crockett "Jamie" Hurst, Jr., John Crockett Webb, Janet, Jesse Crockett Hurst, III and Jasmine; her great grandchildren, Jesse Crockett "J. C." Hurst, IV and Carolyn Marie Hurst; her sisters-in-law, Nancy Hurst and Helen Andrews; and her friends, Anne Busic, Susi Lawson and Wilma Nidifer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
