She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Jefferson and Eula Sumner Jefferson; her husband George Roy Aker; her grandson Joseph Aker; and her siblings, Richard "Dickie" Jefferson and Mildred Walk.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Lynn; her son-in-law Roger Farris; her son Cleve of Wytheville; her daughter-in-law Angela Aker of Wytheville; her siblings, Lois Hensley of Wytheville, Willie Gray Dunford of Ivanhoe, James "Jimmy" Jefferson of Shawsville, VA and Ricky (Rhonda Jefferson); her grandchildren, Christy Smith, Jessica (Jason Perdue), Evan (Gretta Aker) and Erika (Alex Jones); and her great grandchildren, Connor Smith, Bailey Perdue, Sidney Stacy, Cora Stacy, Jocelyn Jones, Joseph "Lane" Jones and Alexis Jones. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, extended family.
Although flowers are appreciated, the family suggests donations be made in her memory to a favorite charity of choice.
