He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Moffitt and Gladys Hover Moffitt; and his siblings, Aubrey, Francis Moffitt, Ruth Wilcox, Mary Wilkinson and Gertrude Moffitt.

He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Moffitt (Gloria Wilkinson Moffitt) of Sunderland, VT, Agnes Brewer (Walter) of Towanda, PA and Barbara Poulin of Brattleboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
