He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Miller and Marge Gableman Miller; and his brother Keith Miller. He is survived by: his former wife Diane Miller of Shaftsbury, Vermont.; his stepsons, Gregory Stoessel of Shaftsbury and Tyler Stoessel of Shaftsbury; his brothers, John Miller of New Jersey and James Miller of Florida; his mother-in-law Donna Scott of Bennington; his siblings-in-law, Donna Dunican of Hoosick Falls, Al Stoessel of Bennington and Steven Sherman of Bennington; and his uncle Kenneth Scott of Pownal. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
