She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Laker and Alice Laker; her sister June; her stepson Richard Oakes; her grandson Dustin Richards; and her daughter Cheryl Brangenberg.
She is survived by: her husband Albert Brangenberg; her children, Douglas Richards (Marilyn Richards), Deborah Sauseville (Anthony Sauseville), Timothy Richards (Donna Richards) and Alisa Kramer (Dennis Kramer); and her grandchildren, Tammy, Stacy Brangenberg, Robert Richards, Lori Wamsganz, Keith, Sarah Sauseville, Christie, Tiffany Richards, Nicholas, Jeremy Miller, Danielle McQueeney, Nick, Laura Briggs and Melissa Hunter. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Barbara spent most of her time with her sister June, who was later diagnosed with Alzheimer's and dedicated many years of caring for her.
