It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Tremblay (Bennington, Vermont), born in Cambridge, New York, who passed away on October 12, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Bates and Barbara Bates (Guber); and her sister Edie Peabody. She is survived by: her husband Neil W. Tremblay Jr. of Bennington; her children, Donna Harrington (Rickey) of Shaftsbury, Neil W. Tremblay III of Bennington and Jacqueline Corey (Andy) of Pownal; her grandchildren, Joel, Nathan, Reuben Harrington (Leeann), Zachary Tremblay (Lauren Nichols), Bradley Tremblay (Mariah), Adrienne Corey (Victor Martinez), John and Matthew Corey; and her siblings, Raymond Bates (Donna) of Cambridge, Hiram Bates (Pauline) of Cambridge, Joe Bates (Pat) of Cambridge, Fred "Butch" Bates (Trish) of Shushan, Shirley Dence (John) of White Creek, NY, Mary Muckle of North Bennington and Ellen Hartenagle of Tennessee. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
