With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Saunders (Bennington, Vermont), born in Arlington, Vermont, who passed away on February 21, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Saunders and Clara Inez Saunders (Bentley); and his siblings, Verna Hoyt, Ronald, Theodore, Lyndus and Kevin Saunders.
He is survived by: his wife Susanne Saunders of Bennington; his children, Priscilla Setzer (Richard) of Shaftsbury, Donna Hall (Rodney) of Hoosick, Laurie Saunders (Moe) of Bennington, Cathy Fuller (Michael) of Marlboro, Douglas L. Saunders (Pamela) of Bennington and Paul Saunders (Marci) of Bennington; and his siblings, Veronica Saville, Vona Wood, Victoria Fifield, James and Kenneth Saunders. He is also survived by Nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
