He is survived by: his close friend Loureda Simmonds; his sons, John Fredrick Dumas (Harriett) of Hartland, VT and Robert Dumas (Annamae); his sisters, Patricia Hyjek of Florida and Frances Donovan of Cambridge, NY; his grandsons, Matthew and Nathan; and his great grandchild Piper.
