It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Prouty (Bennington, Vermont), born in Auburn, California, who passed away on March 23, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Prouty and Leona Prouty Beattie (Davis); and his brother Robert Prouty. He is survived by: his former wives, Pamela Patten and Jo-Anne Burgess Prouty of Bennington; his children, Sarah Prouty (Lane Crites) of Melbourne, Florida and Nate Prouty (Devrie); his grandson Nicholas of Framingham, MA; his child Jenifer Prouty Hoffman (Jonathan) of North Bennington, VT.; and his siblings, Daniel Prouty (Lucie), James Prouty (Irene), Frank Prouty (Kristi) and Debbie Owens of Mount Dora, Florida. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
