Howard Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Smith of Bennington, Vermont, born in Hanover, New Hampshire, who passed away on April 7, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Wilferd Smith and Bernadeen Elnora Tobin (Tobin); and his siblings, David Smith, Lewis Smith, Elsie Ewing (Smith) and Jane Carle (Smith).
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Smith (Lovely); his sons, Michael H. (Nancy Smith) and Bruce Smith (Jennifer Clarkson-Smith); his close friends, Heidi Smith, Dylan Hall, Caitlin Smith, Derrek Eckhardt, Eric Smith, Julia Scotti, Michael R. Smith, Stephanie Gursky, Jeffrey Smith and Kayla Brown; and his siblings, Shirley (Smith), Chummy Chamberlain, John and Susan Smith. He is also survived by grandfather to his five grandchildren.
